WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Kim Armfield & Associates is a law practice situated in Bellville in the Western Cape and specializes in debt review legal matters. The practice was started in 2003 and when the National Credit Act was in its infancy stages, our firm geared up for debt review matters and assisted debt counsellors in crawling, walking and now thriving. Our staff compliment of 19 and our Operations Manger are dedicated to getting what needs to be done, done for both Debt Counsellor and Consumer, and tackling the challenges and curve balls thrown to our client by Credit Providers and Magistrates. We keep updated with all the guidelines issued by the National Credit Regulator and represent Debt Counsellors vis-à-vis the National Credit Regulator and complaints lodged by Consumers to the National Credit Regulator. We attend to high volumes of applications throughout the country and thus make use of outsourcing companies to assist with these volumes.
We are currently representing a large DC firm in a very important Appeal matter regarding the authority of Magistrates to reduce interest rates and are eager to take on more Appeal matters that would benefit our Debt Counsellors and bring more stability and clarity to the debt review industry.
