Consumers Vote For Their Favourite
Each year we ask consumers if their Debt Counsellor, Credit Providers and Payment Distribution Agents are treating them well. The results reflect the popularity and efficiency of the firms involved in these consumers debt review.
Are consumers getting good after care from their Debt Counsellors? Are they, not only being helped with negotiations with their creditors but also trained in how to conduct themselves after their debt review is over?
Are consumers getting good service from their credit providers while under debt review or are they being discriminated against? Will they want to do business with their credit providers once their debt review is over and they reenter the credit market?
Are funds being distributed on time and in the right amounts to the right accounts by consumers PDAs? Do the PDAs send their monthly reports timeously? Do they help when queries arise?
SA’s Favourite helps answer these questions as companies are allowed to approach consumers and their colleagues in the industry and ask them to vote for them (or someone else) online.
The online process took place over +-3 months (Registrations etc in November & December and Voting which closed early Feb 2017). Winners are notified electronically and receive electronic media to attach to their branding.
Though some firms have more clients than others it is not simply a numbers game. Having more unhappy clients will not get you more votes than having less very happy ones. CPs compete in 3 areas while Debt Counsellors are split both by size and area of operation.
