Capitec Foundation was established in June 2015 as an independent, non-profit organisation that manages the corporate social investment initiatives of Capitec Bank.
The Foundation’s main purpose is to campaign for better quality education, particularly in terms of improving numeracy skills and raising the financial literacy levels in South Africa.
Capitec Bank supports the debt review process
We support the debt review process and walk beside our clients, helping them wherever we can. Our focus is to rehabilitate the client, with the goal of allowing the client to re-enter the credit active market. This is done through combating over-indebtedness and protecting the client’s assets. After you obtain a Form 19, the client is welcome to apply for credit again based on their affordability.
We work closely with debt counsellors to ensure we offer the best service possible. Regularly meeting with debt counsellors to identify, engage and overcome challenges ensures a smooth debt review process for the client.
Our debt review system is unique, having been designed specifically with the client in mind. The system offers state of the art efficiencies and turnaround times. We continually make enhancements to the system to ensure we remain on the cutting edge.
